Mission statement

Bell Tower Residence is a nonprofit, faith-based assisted living community that promotes the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of each resident in a safe, caring environment.

"I am so happy to be in the role of Administrator at Bell Tower Residence Assisted Living. My experience on the Bell Tower Board of Directors, as well as our family's time living in Merrill, made me well aware of the compassionate care provided to the residents. I solidly believe in the mission of Bell Tower Residence and look forward to being part of the Bell Tower family and Merrill community."


Board members

Breigh Voigt / President

Breigh has lived in Merrill her entire life. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Upper Iowa University and also has a property and casualty insurance license and holds a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. She is Assistant Vice President of Corporate Services at Church Mutual Insurance Company and has been with the company for 22 years. 

"I enjoy living, working, and supporting the Merrill community. By serving on the Board, I am excited to be part of a team that promotes their mission of serving the elderly."

Noel Bushor / Vice President

Noel now serves on the Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce Board as Treasurer and he was past president. He is a member of the L&L Tree Dodgers and the Devils Creek Stump Jumpers Snowmobile Clubs. He is President of the Girls’ Softball Association. 

After finishing his service in the Air Force Noel worked for his parents who started Courtside Furniture in 1987. In 2002, Noel and his brother Tony purchased Courtside Furniture from their parents. 

Vincent Geisler | Secretary

Vincent is a life-long resident of Merrill. He has a varied work experience that includes Bookkeeping, Healthcare, Food Service, Process Improvement and Youth Ministry. Vincent is a self-described “indoorsman.” He enjoys cooking, reading and classic movies. 

 “I have been part of the ministry of Bell Tower Residence and the Holy Cross Sisters for many years, as a student, as an employee, and as the family member of a resident. By my appointment to the Board of Directors, I hope help continue that mission.”

Sister Pat Cormack

Sister Pat is the Provincial of the U.S.A. Province and President of the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross Corporation. Prior to her election as provincial, she served as the Associate Director for Business & Finance of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious in Silver Spring, Maryland. She is the current chairperson of Region 9 of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious. She has served in various diocesan staff positions in the Diocese of Great Falls-Billings, the Diocese of Gaylord MI and the Archdiocese of New Orleans. 

She holds a Master's in Organization Development from Loyola University of Chicago and a Master's in Religious Education from St. John's University, Collegeville MN.

Dave Cooper

Dave owns and operates David J Cooper Agency, Inc. which has American Family insurance offices in Merrill and Wittenberg since 2004. 

"The reason that I choose to sit on the Board for Bell Tower Residence is it gives me an opportunity to give back to the community and in this case to work with a very community minded organization that is, and has been a large part of the the Merrill community."

Mike Giesler

Mike moved to Merrill in 1968 after four years in the Air Force, He is a Corporate Accountant and retired from Park City Credit Union 12 years ago as Vice President of Finance.  Currently he is the Financial Secretary of the local Knight of Columbus and President of the T B Scott Library Board.


"I've been involved with Bell Tower since 1998, as many of my relatives and friends have been residents."

Sister Peggy Jackelen 

Sister Peggy Jackelen is a Holy Cross Sister and retired administrator of Bell Tower Residence.
"It was a privilege for me to serve as the administrator for 24 years. I have chosen to accept a position on the Board of Directors because I continue to have great passion for this ministry of the Holy Cross Sisters. Although I am no longer involved in the day-to-day management of Bell Tower Residence, it is my desire that the mission of Bell Tower continue to be lived with compassion and care for each resident." 

Kathy Graham

Kathy is a registered nurse, working in homecare at Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
"As a registered nurse I am acutely aware of the changes happening in our health care system as well as in our community. Serving on the Bell Tower Board of Directors offers me an opportunity to help make a difference in the health care available in Merrill. Bell Tower has a deep history in the Merrill community promoting physical, mental and spiritual well-being of the residents. To be a part of the vision of a compassionate community of neighbors treasuring each other as we journey towards fullness of life is exciting to me."


Becky Roberts

Becky is a proud member of the Merrill community, having lived here most of her life, and having raised her four daughters here. She is a Merrill Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, board member of the Merrill Noon Optimist Club, and Committee member for Lincoln Lager Barleyfest, along with various other civic activities in town.  She is happy to be an active member of the Bell Tower board and hopes to help further the mission of the sisters and share her appreciation for what Bell Tower Residence brings to the seniors in our town.

Mark Seaman

"This year marks the start of my thirty-first year in education, all being in Merrill.  I began teaching at Washington Elementary with second graders and now work with middle schoolers who are always providing a challenge for me to be on top of my game. My job as the associate principal has been very rewarding so far.  The students are great!  I have also done a lot of volunteering at St. Francis Church over the years.  I was one of three people who spearheaded the fish fries during Lent and have watched it grow over the years. I have always enjoyed volunteering and I am looking forward to my time on the Bell Tower Residence board helping to continue making it a special place for people to reside.  My wife, Jill, and I have two sons, Michael and Andrew, both of whom are entering the world of work post-college."

Mark Zulliger

Mark Zulliger is a Merrill native who has lived in Merrill most of his life. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Finance and Economics from UW-Oshkosh. For the past 10 years has been CEO of Merrill Federal Savings and Loan. 

“I joined the Bell Tower Residence Board for personal growth, experience and continued life education. In addition, I hope to add value to the Board through my own experiences.”
