A mission of caring
The mission of Bell Tower Residence and Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing Inc. is to serve elderly and disabled individuals by providing quality housing, healthcare and other services to enhance the lives of those we serve.
As a 501c3 nonprofit our main goal is service, not just making a profit. Any profit realized above our operating expenses is reinvested in our facilities. Because of our mission of high-quality service, we rely partially on financial gifts to help meet all of our financial needs. If you're interested in supporting our mission to positively impact the lives of seniors, please consider a tax-deductible gift and donate today.
All donation are used for the benefit of our residents through improvements to our building, increased services and programs, and equipment upgrades that help enrich the lives those we serve. Thank you for your continued support.
Wisconsin Illinois Senior Housing Inc. (WISH) began in 1989 with the purpose of providing quality housing and healthcare to seniors. The journey began with the purchase of Fair Oaks Health Care Center in Crystal Lake, IL. Today, WISH owns 19 facilities in Wisconsin and northern Illinois, and a Wisconsin home health agency.
1998-2000: WISH acquired 4 skilled nursing facilities in Wisconsin: Montello Care Center, Holton Manor, Geneva Lake Manor
2006: WISH moved into the assisted living market with the purchase of the Wellington homes, six community based residential facilities (CBRFs) in central and southeastern Wisconsin.
2009: WISH acquired East Troy Manor, a skilled nursing facility in East Troy, WI, and built Residences on Forest Lane assisted living on the Montello Care Center campus.
2012: WISH purchased Edgerton Care Center (SNF) and Ingleside Manor, now known as Ingleside Communities, which offers independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing/rehab.
2015: WISH was gifted Maple Ridge Care Center, a skilled nursing facility in Spooner, WI, along with the adjacent vacant hospital building. A new assisted living was added shortly thereafter on the second floor of the hospital building. WISH turned the first floor of the hospital into a business center with office and services spaces for lease.
2016: With the changing senior care environment and increased demand for in-home care, WISH opened Transitions At Home home health agency in southeastern WI. It has since expanded into two additional regions serving Wisconsin: Central and West with non-home personal care also offered in some regions.
2019: WISH acquired Bell Tower Residence assisted living in Merrill, WI.
No matter which WISH facility or agency you visit or use, you'll find the same dedicated staff and quality of care.
WISH facilities are professionally managed by Carriage Healthcare Companies Inc.
